We all pay taxes.  Most of us recognize they are a necessary part of community infrastructure.  Without taxes we would not have the drinking water, roads, parks, storm sewers, dump or even streetlights we all use.  Using tax dollars, however, ought not to be the first solution to everything.

Blaine believes The Town of Drumheller needs to be accountable to taxpayers as to tax dollar allocation and the deliberate and diligent allocation and spending of public dollars.

*Why should some people be helped (subsidized housing) while many others (Seniors)  struggle on their own?  

*Shouldn't our local police (contracted by local taxpayers dollars) be more responsive to local priorities rather than preset external directives?
