All visitors, all newcomers, stimulate the economy and keep bringing good will and, yes, dollars to the Valley.  This is the basis of the “Growing Our Community With a Purpose” idea.  The Town should be in the business of developing interest – investment, relocation and tourist interest to Town.  This development should be equal, organized, strategic as well as deliberate.

*"I think that we need a voice for the non-team activities in our community.  For example, my children are not in organized sports and do not have the opportunities to swim or skate at a descent hour of the day.  We need more activities for the whole family."

*Affordable housing:  Does a $5 million project yielding 20 units of subsidized apartments ($250,000 each) a good use of our (taxpayers money?  IS THIS REALLY AFFORDABLE HOUSING?

*Does it make sense to have dark streets coming into town?

*Why is the town in the "development business" while they should be impartially governing?

*Why does the town always (public money) try to complete with business (private money)?

*Why haven't we explored other ideas to provide affordable housing?  What about basement suites? subsidize existing citizens struggling to pay rent?

*Why should some people be helped (Subsidized housing) while others (seniors) struggle on their own?
